The Mark of the Remnant

In Ezekiel 9 God gave Ezekiel a vision about sin and debauchery in the land. This sin even reached into the house of God, the church. And so His glory departed and He brought judgment instead, starting first in His own house, the church.  

But thank God for the ‘man in linen’, with the inkhorn on his belt. signifying the righteousness of Christ, He marked those who had sighed and cried over the abominations. These were the true remnant of the church, to be spared from destruction.
