Follow the Leader

In II Kings 6, as a result of carefully following God’s leading, Elisha accomplished great miracles and was used by God in the operation of several gifts of the Holy Spirit, including Word of Knowledge and Prophecy.  

One of the most important things that we can do as a follower of Jesus Christ is make sure that we actually follow Him!  other influences, such as the constant drone of the outside world, the daily cares of life, and the hectic pace and heavy decisions we face, can certainly drown out or at least slow us down in our quest to carefully follow Our Leader.  We must carefully guard against this so that God can use us in any ways he chooses, which will always be for our benefit, as well as the benefit of others - just as it was with Elisha.
